Although it is lovely to be on the beach and in the countryside around Køge, sometimes you just need a day in the city. It’s easy to get to Copenhagen by car or with the S-train – it only takes 40 minutes, and the station is walking distance from the campsite. Find travel times here.
So head off and see the big city for yourself. Tivoli is usually a popular destination for our guests but there are many other things to see and do in Copenhagen.
Get under water at Den Blå Planet aquarium; meet the animals at the ZOO; give the kids the time of their lives at the Experimentarium; catch a film under the big dome of the Planetarium; go for a cruise on the canal; see the Little Mermaid; have a wander down Strøget (the main shopping/walking street); see the changing of the guard at Amalienborg palace.
