Since 1288 there have been market days in Køge. At the market you can buy fresh fruits and vegetables or be tempted by the large selection of flowers in all varieties.
Together with the butcher, the fishmonger can also be found at Køge Torv, and sometimes other goods are also sold here.
The market day is worth a visit for the whole family. Wehen the weather is nice, you can sit in one of the nearby cafes and enjoy the vibrant commercial life on the square.
