Cancellation rules

You can cancel your booking under the following conditions :

– If you cancel more than 30 days before arrival, the entire amount paid will be refunded, minus an administration fee of DKK 350,-

– If you cancel less than 30 days but more than 14 days before your arrival, half the amount paid will be refunded, and this also covers the administration fee

– If you cancel less than 14 days before your arrival, you will lose the entire amount paid.Cancellation insurance in case of sickness

If you have purchased cancellation protection in the event of illness

1.1 What does the insurance cover?
The insurance covers the price of the rental item, not including the payment for the insurance, which KVCamp does not refund upon cancellation of the rental item, in the following cases which make your stay in the rented accommodation impossible or significantly difficult.

1.1.1 as the result of you or your spouse, partner, children, parents, parents-in-law, step-children, grandchildren, siblings, grandparents, sisters or brothers-in-law, or travelling companions, passing away or becoming seriously ill or seriously injured, requiring hospital treatment, bed rest on doctor’s orders or similar.

Serious illness: As covered by the insurance, means a new illness, reasonable suspicion of a new serious illness, or an unexpected worsening of an existing or chronic illness.

1.2 Special conditions:
The condition for this cover is that KVCamp must receive the pertinent documents, i.e. the medical certificate or, in the case of injury, confirmation from the hospital or doctor in attendance.

1.3 Coverage period.
The cancellation protection covers the period from the moment you pay for the stay and the insurance, up until access to the holiday accommodation is granted.

1.4 How to cancel
The condition for receiving a refund is that KVCamp must be apprised of the cancellation by 12:00 at the latest on the day of arrival. In all cases, the tenant must immediately notify info@valloecamping.dk, and return the proof of rental along with proof of illness as specified in point 1.2
The fee for the issuing of a medical certificate is to be paid by you.
The purchase of cancellation protection can itself be cancelled for up to 14 days from the agreement being signed;
however, this does not apply if the protection was purchased less than 30 days before your intended stay.

1.5 If you wish for more wide-ranging protection, you should contact your own insurers, who can often offer something more comprehensive.
